Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using StrimQ ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StrimQ provides media control tools including Picture-in-Picture, watch parties, broadcast mode, and synchronized playback via a browser extension and web platform.

3. User Accounts

You may use StrimQ anonymously or create an account via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for illegal purposes; (b) attempt to disrupt or overload the Service; (c) share content that violates third-party rights; (d) reverse-engineer the Service beyond what is permitted by open-source licenses.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans (Pro, Team) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

StrimQ does not host or redistribute media content. The Service shares metadata (titles, URLs, timestamps) to enable synchronized viewing. You retain all rights to content you create.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. StrimQ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings page.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the changelog.
