Privacy Policy

Summary

StrimQ collects minimal data. We do not track your browsing, sell your data, or use analytics on the extension. The web platform collects only what's needed to provide the service.

Browser Extension

The StrimQ extension collects zero personal data. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking pixels. Your viewing habits stay on your device. The only network requests are to StrimQ servers when you explicitly start a watch party or broadcast.

Web Platform

When you use strimq.tv, we collect:

• Account info (email, name) if you sign in with Google
• Session data (what you share, when, with whom) to provide sync
• Payment info processed by Stripe (we never see your card number)

What We Don't Collect

• Browsing history
• Videos you watch (unless you broadcast them)
• Keystrokes or form data
• Location data
• Device fingerprints

Data Storage

Data is stored on EU-based servers (PostgreSQL, Redis). Session data is ephemeral and deleted after 4 hours of inactivity. Account data is retained until you delete your account.

Third Parties

We use: Stripe (payments), Google (OAuth login). We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

Your Rights

You can: export your data, delete your account, revoke Google access, cancel your subscription — all from the Account page. For GDPR requests, email privacy@strimq.tv

Cookies

We use a single localStorage token for authentication. No tracking cookies, no third-party cookies, no cookie banners needed.
